The Washington State Women’s Basketball team defeated Santa Clara 73-47 in the second round of the inaugural Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament yesterday in Pullman.
The No. 1-seed Cougs improve to 20-14 on the season and move on to the quarterfinals where they will host No. 2-seed Toledo on Thursday at Friel Court inside the Beasley Coliseum. Tip-off time is set for 6PM.
