Callie Stevens scored 20 points but it wasn’t enough as the Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team fell in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament championship game 59-53 last (Mon) night to Southern Oregon in Ashland.
Kami Walk scored 20 points and had 9 rebounds for the Raiders, while Meghan McIntyre added 17 in the win.
LC was unable to overcome 19 turnovers and also gave up 12 offensive rebounds.
The Warriors will return home to prepare for the NAIA National Opening Round Tournament March 15 and 16 at the P1FCU Activity Center in Lewiston.
The NAIA will announce the 64-team fields for both the women’s and men’s national tournaments Thursday on its YouTube Channel.
