LEWISTON, ID – Join the Lewiston firefighters stair climb team and help them raise money to compete in the 33rd Annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Firefighter Stair Climb in Seattle on March 10th. At over 788 feet of vertical elevation, the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle stands as the second tallest building on the West Coast. Several local firefighters will climb this tower to help raise money for blood cancers.

Team Chief Chenault will be at Tapped – Taphouse & Kitchen – Lewiston at 524 Main Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tonight where the Belching Beaver brewery will be featuring their beers in a tap takeover. One dollar of every beer sold will go to the team, which is climbing for Battalion Chief Dave Chenault as he continues his battle against cancer.

The team this year consists of five members of the department:

Captain Soren Lowe
Engineer Frank Staab
Engineer Chris Jones
Firefighter Michael Henry
Firefighter Jonathon Sells
The team will also be at Rosauers from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday for their annual stairclimb fundraiser.
