One person died and another was injured in a Saturday night house fire in Princeton.
According to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters were called at about 9:20 p.m. and the structure on McKinneyville Road was fully engulfed when they arrived.
The deceased person has not yet been identified. The injured person was flown by air ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston and has since been released.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known and there was no damage estimate released. The Idaho State Fire Marshal and the sheriff’s office are investigating the incident.
