Winter Spirit is in need of volunteers to help take down the lights at Locomotive Park in Lewiston.
Volunteers are needed on Saturdays, January 6th, 13th, and 20th and also on Martin Luther King Jr Day, Monday, January 15th. The hours of light removal are from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Coffee, cocoa, donuts, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers and there are jobs for people with varying abilities. People can work outside, removing lights from trunks and trees and helping to dismantle displays and there are also jobs for people needing to sit inside in the heat who can fold lights and store them in totes.
Organizers are also in need of someone who can lift 50 pounds and has a driver’s license to drive around a 4-wheeler to pick up and deliver totes around the park.
