
Volunteers from the Boys & Girls Club of the Lewis Clark Valley will conduct their annual collection of Christmas trees in Lewiston on Saturday.
Lewiston residents are asked to place their tree on or near their curb for disposal by 8 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers will be driving routes throughout Lewiston and going door to door to collect donations for trees collected.
All donations go to youth scholarships for needy children who want club membership, activities and sports.
In Clarkston, residents can drop off their trees at the Clarkston Boys & Girls clubhouse now through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those who bring their trees are asked to leave their donations with staff inside the building.
Volunteers will also be available to collect trees and donations at the Clarkston clubhouse from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
