No Injuries Following Two-Vehicle Crash on White Bird Grade

Idaho State Police responded to a non-injury, property damage crash on U.S. Highway 95 near milepost 233 this (Tue) morning at approximately 8:00 o’clock.

According to an ISP news release, a 2008 Dodge Nitro, occupied by a 58-year-old female from Council, was traveling southbound on the White Bird Grade. A 1998 Dodge Ram, occupied by a 68-year-old male from White Bird was traveling northbound.

The preliminary investigation indicates the Dodge Nitro lost control, crossed left of center and collided with the Dodge Ram. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts and neither was injured in the crash. The roadway was blocked for approximately 1.5 hours.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Transportation Department assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
