NWS: Snow and Freezing Rain Expected Tonight and Tomorrow in Eastern Washington/North-Central Idaho

  • Snow will spread into eastern WA Sat afternoon and reaching north ID Sat evening.
  • Light freezing rain Saturday night and early Sunday morning in central WA. 30 percent chance of a tenth of an inch of ice on top of newly fallen snow at Waterville, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth. (See map)
  • Rain falling on top of new snow Sat night into Sun will produce rises on creeks and streams for the Palouse and Camas Prairie. Amounts: A third to two-thirds of an inch of rain falling on top of 1 to 4 inches of snow.
  • Significant flooding is not expected. Forecast for Paradise Creek is attached and will be representative of rises on small streams and creeks on Palouse and Camas Prairie.
