Reece DeGroot had 13 points and the Lewiston High girls basketball team’s comeback came up just short in a close 55-53 loss to Lakeland last (Tue) night at LHS.
Addy McCarcher added 12 points and Bay Delich put up 11 in the loss for the Bengals who were down 23 points early in the third quarter.
Lewiston falls to 1-2 and will face league foe Lake City at home next Tuesday at LHS.
