Five Area H.S. Football Teams Still Alive in State Title Hunts

Five local high school football teams continue their quests for state titles this weekend.

Asotin opens play in the Washington State 2-B Playoffs tonight (Fri) when the Panthers travel to Richland to face River View. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Fran Rish Stadium.

Clarkston hosts Woodland in a Washington State 2-A playoff game tomorrow (Sat). Kick-off is set for noon from Adams Field.

Pomeroy opens the Washington 1-B State Playoffs with a home game tomorrow (Sat) against Naselle.

Unbeaten Logos is competing in the Idaho State 1-A Division I playoffs with a semi-final game tonight (Fri) at Butte County with kick-off scheduled for 5 p.m. Pacific Time.

Undefeated two time defending Idaho State 1-A Division II champion Kendrick plays a semi-final game on the road tomorrow (Sat) in Hagerman against the Pirates. Kick-of is set for 1 p.m. Pacific Time.
