Marcus Semien homered and Mitch Garverr and Jonah Heim both had run-scoring singles and the Texas Rangers shutout the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 last (Wed) night to win the World Series.
Nathan Eovaldi got the win on the mound running his post season record to 5-0. The righthander allowed no runs on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts over 6 innings.
It’s the first World Series title in franchise history for Texas.
