Monetary donations are now being accepted for veterans who will be unable to return home for the holidays.
Christmas Wishes To Our Heroes Overseas Incorporated works to put together Christmas Care packages to send to local active military personnel currently serving all over the world. Monetary donations ensure the group is able to acquire the items, which are then shipped free online to APO Addresses.
Cash donations can be dropped off at any P1FCU branch into the “Christmas Wishes To Our Heroes Overseas Incorporated account (Account # 244211).
Checks addressed to “Christmas Wishes To Our Heroes Overseas Incorporated” can be dropped off at the VFW Sourdough Post located at 1104 Warner Avenue in Lewiston Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Anyone with a loved one currently serving can have them added to their mailing list by emailing the service members information to ChristmaswishestoourHeroes@gmail.com.
