The Lolo Pass Visitor Center has transitioned to new winter hours of operation. The center is now open 7 days a week instead of five days.

On November 1st, operating hours will change to 7:30am to 3:00pm Pacific Time.

The Lolo Pass Visitor Center is located on Highway 12, just across the border from Montana at the summit of Lolo Pass.

Opened in 2003, the state-of-the-art facility features exhibits on ecology, natural history, and the long and enduring relationship between the Nez Perce Tribe and this part of their traditional homeland. The surrounding landscape is home to a host of various wildlife.

During the snowy winter, it is a popular destination for skiing, snowmobiling, snowplay, and snowshoeing.
