An Arizona man has been taken into custody following a report of a burglary near Grangeville.
According to a press release from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, at around 3 p.m. Wednesday, dispatch received a call of a burglary in progress at a residence outside Grangeville on the Johnston Cut Off Road.
The reporting party stated no one should be in the house, as it belonged to a family member, and he didn’t recognize the vehicle in the driveway.
Idaho County Deputies responded and the reporting party stated the man was still
inside the residence. Deputies called the male outside, and 23-year-old Ernesto Herandez Cedillo of Mesa, Arizona was arrested for felony burglary, misdemeanor malicious injury to property and misdemeanor petit theft.
