Jose Caballero homered and drove in two runs and Eugenio Suarez added two hits and a run-batted-in as the Seattle Mariners snapped a three-game skid with a 5-0 shutout win over the A’s in Oakland last (Mon) night.
Five Mariner pitchers combined on the shutout. Bryan Woo improved to 4-4 with his 5 inning start. The righthander allowed no runs on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts.
Game two of the three-game series is set for 6:40 tonight (Tue) with live coverage in the LC Valley on 95.5 FM or AM 950 KOZE and in he upper Clearwater Valley on AM 130 KLER.
