Logan O’Hoppe homered twice and drove in 3 runs in leading the Los Angeles Angels to an 8-5 win over the Seattle Mariners last (Mon) night at T-Mobile Park.
Julio Rodriguez recorded 4 hits, including a homerun and drove in 2, and Cal Raleigh also homered in the loss for the M’s.
On the mound, Logan Gilbert pitched well but got a no decision. The Seattle righthander allowed 3 runs on 6 hits with 5 strikeouts over 7 innings.
The Mariners will look to snap a four-game losing streak in the second game of the three-game series tonight at T-Mobile Park.
