M’s Snap 3-Game Skid, Avoid Sweep

J.P. Crawford homered and drove in 3 runs and Ty France added 2 hits and 2 runs-batted-in as the Seattle Mariners snapped a 3-game losing streak with an 8-4 win over the Reds last (Wed) night in Cincinnati.

On the mound, Logan Gilbert improved to 13-5. The M’s righthander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits with 9 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

Seattle closes out its current 10-game road trip with a four-game series beginning this afternoon in Tampa Bay against the Rays.
