Bengals Travel to Boise Saturday for Date with Capital

The Lewiston High School football team travels to Boise Saturday for a non-conference game with Capital.

The Bengals are 0-1 after falling in their season opener last weekend in Rexburg to Woods Cross of Utah.

The Golden Eagles are 0-2 with losses to Borah and Bishop Kelly.

Pre-game coverage begins at 11:40 a.m. and kick-off from Donna Larson Park is set for noon Pacific Time with live coverage in the LC Valley on The River 105.1 FM and streaming free online at bengalsports.com.

One of the marquee match-ups in the state features defending Idaho 1-A Division II State champion Kendrick facing Idaho 1-A Division I state champion Oakley on the road Friday. Kamiah is home with Lapwai; Prairie travels to Troy; Potlatch plays at home against Genesee; Salmon River buses to Deary; Timberline is home to face Cascade; Lewis County heads south to play Council; Grangeville plays at Parma; Pullman opens the season in Rathdrum against Lakeland; and Colfax hosts Lind-Ritzville-Sprague-Washtucna-Kahlotus.
