OROFINO, ID – The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office says one person was killed and another critically injured in a side-by-side UTV crash on the Upper Basin Road on Saturday. According to a press release, Deputies, Elk River Ambulance, and Life Flight crews responded to the scene at about 4:42 p.m. for a report of a single-vehicle rollover accident involving a UTV
“Trisha Tachell 54 year old female and a passenger 53 year old Scott Kramm both from Elk River. Scott was ejected and flown to Kootenai Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Tachell was deceased at the scene,” officials say.
The collision remains under investigation.
