LOLO PASS – A 58-year-old Sherwood Park, Alberta man who was transported to a Montana hospital after he crashed his motorcycle on US 12 on August 7th succumbed to his injuries this past week. According to the Idaho State Police, the man passed away on August 16th.
The collision happened at 3:13 p.m. at milepost 170 in Idaho County, about four miles from the Idaho-Montana border.
The man was traveling eastbound on US 12 when he lost control while crossing a bridge.
“The motorcycle rolled and the rider was thrown from the bike,” ISP said in a previous press release.
The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
