LEWISTON, ID – An 84-year-old Culdesac man was arrested yesterday by Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Detectives for allegedly having lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 15. According to a press release, the arrest of Charles Nims was based upon several alleged incidents that occurred in Nez Perce County when the victim was between the ages of 9-12 years old. Nims also reportedly admitted to sexual contact to a family member of the victim.
Nims is currently being held in the Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center. This investigation is still pending and further charges are a possibility.
