Culdesac Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge Previously Served Prison Time for 2nd Degree Murder

The Culdesac man facing attempted murder after allegedly trying to run over his roommate multiple times last Friday, was convicted of 2nd Degree Murder 26 years ago.

The Lewiston Tribune reports, 59-year-old Brian Grimm who was arrested for trying to run over 61-year-old Michael Dranichak, was convicted for the stabbing death of another roommate in 1997. He was sentenced to nearly 14 years in prison.

Grimm is in custody at the Nez Perce County Jail with a $500,000 bond. His next court date is a status conference hearing July 31.
