CLARKSTON, WA – A 37-year-old inmate of the Asotin County Jail fled from Tri-State Health at around 12:30 a.m. Monte Dale Clark had been found unconscious and unresponsive late Saturday afternoon and transported to the hospital where he was admitted.
“Due to short staffing issues at the jail, it was agreed upon that the hospital would notify law enforcement if Clark became problematic or tried to leave,” a press release states.
The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office was notified of Clark’s departure after he had fled the hospital.
“Surrounding law enforcement and deputies searched for Clark throughout the night. Clark is 5”05” with brown hair and blue eyes. Clark was last seen wearing a blue and white hospital gown,” ACSO says.
