UPDATE: Pomeroy Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash West of Clarkston

CLARKSTON, WA – A 46-year-old Pomeroy man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on US 12 about five miles west of Clarkston at 11:54 a.m. According to the Washington State Patrol, Jeremiah Hessling was traveling westbound on a 1992 Honda ST1100 motorcycle at milepost 427 when he attempted to pass a semi. He collided with a 2020 Toyota RAV 4 driven by 33-year-old Jamie Lockie of Pomeroy.

Hessling was wearing a helmet. Lockie was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the WSP.
