The Seattle Mariners open the second half of the season tonight (Fri) when they open a three-game series with Detroit in Seattle.
The Mariners have won 7 of their last 10 games and enter the second half of the year with a 45-44 record. The Tigers come in with a record of 39-50, 5 ½ games out of first place in the American League Central.
Tonight’s game also marks the beginning of a 10-game homestand for the M’s.
