Former Gonzaga Star Julian Strawther Drafted by Denver in NBA Draft, Timme and Smith Sign Free Agent Deals

Former Gonzaga men’s basketball star Julian Strawther was the 29th pick in the first round by the World Champion Denver Nuggets in last (Thur) night’s NBA draft. The 6’ 7” wing was the only Bulldog drafted.

Former Zags forward Drew Timme was signed to a free agent contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, and former Bulldog guard Malachi Smith also signed a free agent deal with the Portland Trailblazers.

Meanwhile, former Washington State forward Mouhamed Gueye was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks.
