McMorris Rodgers to Help Lead Field Hearing on the Lower Snake River Dams

Washington, D.C. – Eastern Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) has announced plans to welcome members of the House Natural Resources Committee to Eastern Washington where she will help lead a field hearing on the importance of the Lower Snake River dams.
In addition to the field hearing, members will tour Ice Harbor Dam to see firsthand the innovative technology being used to maximize hydropower generation while also ensuring safe fish passage for endangered salmon that travel along the Snake River.

Witnesses at the field hearing will include representatives from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Port of Lewiston, Benton Public Utility District, Washington Association of Wheat Growers, McGregor Company, Washington Policy Center, and Kintama Research Services.
