Approximately 365 Avista electric customers in Moscow will experience a planned power outage starting on Thursday.
The planned outage will start at 11:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 a.m. on Friday. Impacted customers are located north of A Street and between Farm Road and Peterson Road.
A second power outage – also from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., will impact 184 Avista customers located north of Palouse River Drive, south of Walenta Drive, and from Borah Avenue east to Lenter Street.
Impacted customers will be notified. Traffic control will be in place as intermittent lane closures will occur at the intersection of A Street and Baker Street and Palouse River Drive near Conestoga Drive.
During the outage, Avista contract crews will be performing maintenance on equipment in the area.
