A Man Was Arrested for Shooting at a Squirrel But Hitting a Neighbor’s Bedroom Window

A 76-year-old man in Minnesota named Michael Powers was arrested after he opened fire on a SQUIRREL who was on his bird feeder.  He told the cops he regularly did that and said he was “at war” with the squirrels.

The problem was, he didn’t hit the squirrel.  Instead, at least six bullets hit a neighbor’s house . . . including one that went through the window of a CHILD’S BEDROOM.  The other five hit the siding.  Fortunately, no one was hurt.

As the man was being cuffed, his wife reportedly said, “Well, I told you.”

Powers was charged with recklessly handling of a dangerous weapon, a misdemeanor, plus a felony count of discharging a firearm within a municipality. He’s facing up to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the felony.
