A woman who was arrested last year by the Whitman County SWAT team for allegedly firing shots at several people has been found not guilty by reason of insanity.

The Lewiston Tribune reports 30-year-old Jamie Carosino was found criminally insane in Whitman County Superior Court after undergoing several mental health evaluations. Superior Court Judge Gary Libey ruled to drop several felony assault counts against Carosino, and ordered she be committed to the Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake, Washington, for treatment.

Carosino was arrested by the Whitman County SWAT team after a lengthy standoff following two separate incidents where she allegedly shot at her boyfriend with a 9mm handgun, and later she allegedly shot at her boyfriend and his parents with an AR-15 rifle. Nobody was injured in either incident.
