The Lewiston School District has selected Doug Henderson as the new Activities Director and Assistant Principal at Lewiston High School beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.
According to news release, Henderson has 20 years of experience in education. He spent his first 12 years in the Whitepine School District as a coach, teacher, and administrator. He then served as an Assistant Principal at Moscow Middle School. Most recently, he has been the executive director of Southeast Christian School in Parker, Colorado.
District officials say Henderson places a strong emphasis on building strong relationships with staff, students, and parents with a servant style of leadership.
He takes over for Corey Williams, who is moving within the district to become a Principal at Sacajawea Junior High.
