The date of June 9 has been set for when the court will hear arguments against the gag order in the quadruple muder case against Bryan Kohberger.

KXLY reports that on that day, attorneys for the Associated Press and the family attorney of one of the four University of Idaho students killed, are challenging the gag order currently in place, which limits information being released regarding the investigation.

The argument against the gag order is that it causes ‘irreparable harm’ to the public’s right to know about the murder case involving the four students in November 2022.

A trial date has been set for October 2, which is expected to last 4-6 weeks.

Prosecutors now have 60 days to decide whether they will seek the death penalty.
