The man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November will appear in a Moscow courtroom today (Mon).

Bryan Kohberger, who was indicted by a grand jury last week, has been in the Latah County Jail since early January after being arrested and charged with the 1st -Degree Murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle.

Kohberger will have an arraignment hearing where he will enter a plea to the charges against him, and assuming he pleads not guilty, a trial will be scheduled. He could face the death penalty if convicted. Prosecutors have not yet said if they will seek it, but attorneys have been appointed who are qualified to handle capital cases.

Today’s hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. and will take place at the Latah County Courthouse in Moscow and is open to the public.
