M’s Fall, Lose Series in Boston

Pablo Reyes had two doubles and four runs-batted-in and Justin Turner had three hits, including a homerun for the second straight game and the Boston Red Sox downed the Seattle Mariners 12-3 yesterday (Wed) in the final game of their three-game series at Fenway Park.

Cal Raleigh and Sam Haggerty both doubled for the M’s.

Former Gonzaga star Marco Gonzales suffered his first loss of the season. The lefty allowed 8 runs on 8 hits in an inning and two-thirds.

The Red Sox took the series two games to one.

Up next, Seattle travels to Atlanta for a three-game weekend series beginning tomorrow afternoon at 4:20 p.m.
