LC State Picks Up 5-4 Win Over Concordia, Will Play in Championship Game Tomorrow

LEWISTON, ID – Isaac Haws delivered the game-winning hit as the Lewis-Clark State baseball team advanced into the championship round of the NAIA National Opening Round Tournament with a 5-4 win over Concordia of Ann Arbor Michigan tonight at Harris Field. Isaiah Thomas added three hits, including a grand slam home run for the Warriors who now have a two-for-one chance to qualify for the 66th Avista NAIA World Series.

Jake Green picked up his second win of the tournament with 3 innings of no-hit relief. The tournament continues tomorrow with an elimination game between Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Concordia at 12:30 p.m. The winner moves on to face Lewis-Clark State at 4:00 p.m.
