Idaho County K9 Millie Let Her Nose Do the Work, Results in Arrest

KOOSKIA, ID – A 60-year-old Kooskia woman was arrested last night on drug charges after Idaho County Sheriff’s Office K9 Millie alerted on her vehicle. The agency says a deputy was on routine patrol at around 9:15 p.m. and reportedly observed a traffic offense.

“Deputies stopped a gold Chevrolet pickup on Broadway Avenue in Kooskia. K9 Millie arrived and was deployed and alerted on the vehicle,” officials say. “Deputies searched the vehicle and located methamphetamine.”

As a result, Gari Grief was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and cited for misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
