M’s Come Up Short Against Texas

Marcus Semien homered and drove in two runs in leading the Texas Rangers past the Seattle Mariners 4-3 yesterday in Seattle.

Jarred Kelenic had two hits, including a triple, and an RBI for the Mariners.

Luis Castillo took the loss. The righthander allowed 3 runs on 8 hits with 9 strikeouts over 5 innings.

Seattle has today (Thur) off and will open a three-game series in Detroit against the Tigers tomorrow afternoon at 3:40 p.m.
