Taylor Trammell homered and drove in 3 runs and Kolten Wong added two hits and 2 RBI as the Seattle Mariners completed a three-game sweep against the A’s today (Thur) with a 5-3 win.
George Kirby picked up the win. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits with two strikeouts over 7 innings and Paul Sewald earned his 9th save of the season.
The Mariners, who’ve won four in-a-row, return home for a three-game divisional series with rival Houston beginning tomorrow (Fri) night at T-Mobile Park.
