CLARKSTON, WA – Asotin County Fire District #1 fire and EMS crews were called to a structure fire in the Clarkston Heights last night at around 10:30 p.m.
“The reports were coming in from around the neighborhood at Billy Meadow Lane and 3rd Avenue in the Clarkston Heights. People could see smoke and flames and hear explosions,” ACFD1 says on its Facebook page.
When firefighters arrived they found that smoke and flames had engulfed a large storage shed behind a home.
“Firefighters quickly contained the fire and continued searching for hot spots for about a half hour,” the department says.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
