
POTLATCH, ID – Four people, including two from Kamiah, were injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 95 north of Potlatch this morning. According to the Idaho State Police, emergency crews responded to the Mineral Mountain Rest Area near milepost 370.5 at 10:12 a.m.
“A silver 2017 Subaru Impreza, being driven by a 77 year old man from Kamiah, Idaho, was traveling northbound on US95. There was a 71 year old female passenger in the silver Subaru. A blue 2017 Subaru Impreza, being driven by a 38 year old man from Coeur D Alene, Idaho, was traveling southbound on US95. There was a 32 year old male passenger in the blue Subaru. The silver Subaru failed to yield to the blue Subaru as it turned left across the roadway, causing a head-on collision,” a press release says.
All involved occupants were transported by ground ambulance to the local hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
ISP does not release the names of crash victims.
