GRANGEVILLE, ID – The Idaho State Police is investigating a non-injury collision that occurred at approximately 5:04 a.m. this morning in Idaho County. A 28-year-old man was driving a Kenworth tractor-trailer loaded with lumber southbound on US95 near milepost 235 when he lost control.

“The preliminary investigation indicates the Kenworth appears to have gone off the right shoulder and rolled onto its passenger side. The roadway was wet, and the rainfall reduced visibility,” according to a press release.

The driver and his 51-year-old male passenger from Grangeville were wearing seatbelts and were uninjured.

Traffic on US 95 was partially blocked in the southbound lane for approximately 3.5 hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene. The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

ISP does not release the names of those involved in incidents.
