LEWISTON, ID – After more than 23 years of serving Nez Perce County, Sergeant Patrick Santos is hanging up his duty belt. His official last “Out of Service” call is set for 4:30 p.m. this afternoon. The public is invited to the Nez Perce County Courthouse parking lot to thank Sgt. Santos and wish him a happy retirement.
Santos began his career in the jail when it was still above the courthouse. He worked his way through the ranks to become a patrol supervisor.
A public retirement celebration is scheduled for tomorrow from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the 49er’s Saddle Clube at 6601 Tammany Creek Road in Lewiston. Light food will be provided but please bring your own drinks. Friends, family, and the public are welcome to join.
