
The Lewis-Clark State baseball team split it’s final two games with Oregon Tech yesterday – falling 8-6 in the first game and winning on a dramatic walk-off homerun in the second game 10-8.
The Owls rallied with 3 runs in the 9th inning of the first game to ensure the program’s first-ever series win over LC. Dom Signorelli homered for the Warriors in the loss.
In the second game, Carter Booth hit a walk-off three run homer and LC avoided a four-game sweep. Alec Homles picked up his first win of the season with an inning of one-hit relief.
LC improved to 19-10 overall, and 4-7 in the Cascade Conference.
The Warriors play the final 13 games of the regular season on the road beginning this weekend with a key four-game series with in-state rival College of Idaho in Caldwell.
