A mobile home was destroyed by fire in Cottonwood early yesterday (Wed) morning.
Three adults were able to escape, with one suffering minor injuries. Three pets inside the structure perished.
The fire was reported at 3:30 a.m. on East Street. The Cottonwood Fire Department, Cottonwood Police Department, the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office and an ambulance from St. Mary’s Hospital responded.
Authorities believe the fire’s origin was electrical in nature. An Idaho state fire marshal is expected to be on the scene today (Thur) for further investigation.
