Two People Arrested on Drug Charges Following Crash on US 95

GRANGEVILLE, ID – Two people were arrested on drug charges in connection with a collision yesterday afternoon in Idaho County. According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a crash on US 95 near milepost 230.5 at around 2:05 p.m. The pickup was pulling a trailer hauling a vehicle for scrap metal.

“The owner of the vehicle involved in the accident arrived on scene. K9 Mic performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted,” a press release says.

As a result, 29-year-old Frank Guidice of Riggins was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Destiny McConnell of Riggins, was transported by ambulance to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville. She was arrested this morning and cited for misdemeanor driving under the influence and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. McConnell was also charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia stemming from the collision.
