ISP Investigating Injury Crash in Latah County

DEARY, ID – The Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at 9:52 a.m. this morning on State Highway 3. According to a press release, a log truck driven by a 40-year-old Deer Lodge, Montana man was traveling southbound near milepost 25.5 in Latah County when he lost control, left the highway, and then returned to the road. A Chevrolet pickup driven by a male was traveling northbound and impacted the log truck which then tipped into the passenger vehicle.

Both drivers were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Traffic on SH3 was blocked completely for 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The investigation is still continuing.

ISP does not release the names of those involved in crashes.
