
LEWISTON, ID – Three people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash near the intersection of Tammany Creek Road and 6th Street yesterday afternoon. According to the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office, deputies, along with Idaho State Police troopers and Lewiston Fire Department personnel, were dispatched to the injury collision at about 1:49 p.m.
“Upon arrival Deputies located a 1995 Saturn that had left the roadway and overturned. There were three occupants in the vehicle that were all transported to St. Joes with injuries,” a press release says.
Officials say 28-year-old Sheldon Adair of Clarkston and 25-year-old Hailey Benway of Post Falls were both admitted to the hospital with serious injuries; 26-year-old Allen Whitney of Lapwai was treated and released.
A nursing supervisor at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center says Benway is stable but in critical condition. Adair is no longer listed as a patient at SJRMC.
