LCSC Women’s Track & Field Rated No. 18 in NAIA by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The women of LC State Track and Field jumped into the top 25 of the USTFCCCA Women’s Indoor Track and Field Rating Index at No. 18, the coaching organization announced on Wednesday. The Warriors have accumulated 75.81 points and are the highest-ranked team in the Western region.

Reigning Cascade Conference and NAIA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week Jennah Carpenter leads LC State with 32.79 points individually. She totaled 21.51 for her high jump (1.70m) which ranks second in the NAIA, and 11.28 points for her performance in the pentathlon (3,340), which ranks eighth.

Fellow Lewiston native Madigan Kelly added 10.81 points with her time of 8.68 in the 60m hurdles. She ranks ninth in the NAIA in the event. Orofino’s Sydnie Zywina brought in 8.45 points for her 11.63m triple jump.
