ROSALIA, WA – (KXLY) – Questions about the future of social security, border security, and the debt ceiling filled the community center in Rosalia Monday morning, according to KXLY.

U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers also answered questions from farmers about redefining the ‘waters of the United States” and her plans to cut spending in Washington D.C.

It’s part of McMorris Rodgers’ town hall meetings planned for Eastern Washington.

“Skyrocketing… the number of families that had their children purchase a pill online thinking that it’s something else and it’s fentanyl-laced and dying,” McMorris Rodgers said. “And yet they’re not being held accountable.”

McMorris Rodgers says she’s going to the southern border next Wednesday with a group of legislators to talk about fentanyl making its way into the U.S. from Mexico.
