Mariners Announce Broadcast Schedule for 2023 Spring Training

SEATTLE, WA – The Seattle Mariners and Major League Baseball have announced the broadcast schedule for 2023 Cactus League play. The Mariners open against the San Diego Padres on Friday, February 24th with a 12:10 p.m. (PST) first pitch as the visiting team at Peoria Stadium.

Mariners Spring Training games will be televised live on ROOT SPORTS for 9 games: Feb. 25 at Los Angeles-AL, March 4 vs. Colorado, March 10 vs. Cincinnati, March 11 at Colorado, March 12 vs. Texas, March 19 vs. Chicago-AL, March 22 vs. Los Angeles-NL, March 24 vs. Oakland and March 25 vs. Arizona.

On Saturday, March 11, ROOT SPORTS will have its first ever all-female broadcast. The broadcast team will include women from across the ROOT SPORTS family. Jenny Cavnar (Rockies) will serve as the play-by-play announcer with Angie Mentink (Mariners) joining her in the booth as an analyst. Sideline reporter duties will be handled by Jen Mueller (Mariners) and Julia Morales (Astros). The all-female broadcast will extend behind the camera as well with women from the production team including Game Producer Alison Vigil, Graphics Producer Susan Strand and Game Director Erica Ferrero.

All Mariners Spring Training games can be heard on Seattle Sports (710 AM) and participating members of the Mariners Radio Network.

The Mariners final game of the spring takes place on March 27 against the Padres at Peoria Stadium. Seattle opens the regular season on March 30 at T-Mobile Park against the Cleveland Guardians, with a 7:10 p.m. PT first pitch.
